As a popular tourist destination with a rich history and a well established wildlife population, Tiritiri Matangi is a magnet for researchers working across a variety of fields from ecologists to social scientists.

SoTM is particularly interested in research projects that generate knowledge relevant to the implementation of this plan. If you are considering conducting a research project on Tiritiri Matangi, we have created a comprehensive funding guide and a cover sheet template.

There are two closing dates per year for applications: 15 March and 15 September.
